Regular bulbs were damaging the shades

If the lamp bulbs were at eye level they would project beyond the shades and the light from the bulbs would be too bright

Each bulb is wrapped in paper then packed into a plastic sleeve and placed into a cardboard box

Unlike some of the candelabra bulbs that have a plastic base these look like a standard bulb

They have very long threads and when i installed then in an older fixture the threads extended past the fixture so i could not use them in that fixture though they worked

We always have a concern that replacement bulbs wont work in our chandelier because the threads arent long enough
