People need to realize this item is to be used as an additional quick aim not a supplemental precision aiming device

If however you decide to get frustrated at your slow progress and decide to use a hammer any kind of hammer the pin may move out of alignment and wind up under the plastic where pounding the pin tool with your hammer may just shoot that pin into the plastic cracking the lasergrip and making it unusable
