Pros & Cons
Pros
This kit is highly adjustable and fits both my 8 year old son and my husband's head (as long as they adjust it) the fit is great, and they have a quick release feature for easy adjustment each time you put them on. The mask is great and has an adjusta... Read More
The glass does not get hazy, the breathing tube is secure. It's almost hard to get used to at first because you want to instinctively clear it. Probably could us some anti- fog glass cleaner for mask also. Because sometimes it gets foggy.
The cressi snorkel has a rubberized ball on the top to keep water out. It also has a cute little ball-stopper to keep one from breathing in water. As a long-term diver, i tend to prefer a snorkel with no purge valve.
The glass goggles are really a step up. They are easy to pack inside your luggage and perfect for any one who wants to snorkel. Has been a wonderful go to mask all summer for local lakes and just goofing around in our pool.
The silicone seal is great, and the mouthpiece is comfortable to wear. Has nevr yellowed, the silicone is still pliable and soft. No others leaks other that the light, stubble-induced one.
Highlights
Quality
I’ve been certified scuba diver since 1975 and so am familiar with the brand as a professional scuba supplier pf long standing
What i like most is the fact that the straps can be adjusted easily with the pressing of two buttons to release
The mask will get foggy is you don’t use an anti fog product
The side straps are tuff to adjust seems one side the buttons are already getting wonky and i only have a few minutes with the mask so far
Price
The price is budget friendly and more than worth it
I don’t think i have ever paid less than 35 bucks for a snorkel set so the price is good especially if you do it often you need... Read More
What i dont like the price is high for everyday swimming and playing
Packaging/appearance
Its worth noting that the mask is good quality tempered glass but is not antifog coated
Competitiveness
Infinitely better than the noname junk we bought in hawaii for half the price that almost killed us
Get some good long lasting antifog coating and apply it before you hit the water
I’m reviewing several different cressi mask snorkel models

It fits my face well… might not fit a smaller face as well it doesn’t fit my wife

The mask is shallow enough to give that great field of view but there are no “pressure spots” against my face which could turn into sores with long use

As a longterm diver i tend to prefer a snorkel with no purge valve and no topstopper when free diving because a simple tube works better for that if you have trained your breathing and timing well enough

But i must admit for “surface touring” where you’re mostly just sightseeing without diving down much that the purge valve is nice

In practice i found it’s not all that easy and it seems pretty breakoffable to me so i’m not sure it’s necessarily an improvement over the old simple silicone loop system
