Pros
The case is essentially a freebie for getting the collection. Every tool has a dedicated space within the custom-molded case. The carrying case is very heavy duty and durable.
Crescent has a great reputation for long term durability on tools. The wrenches especially are extremely solid. The polished tools are better than the blackened ones; they're super sturdy. This is true of every tool and wrench case i have even had.
Cons
Most of the tool count is made up of minor little things like bits. Beyond that, the case holds pieces quite loosely. This is the most bare-bones renter's set i've come across.

The quality is top notch as one would expect from channel lock nothing cheap in this set including the case
He says the quality is ok and the set itself is basic and anyone starting in to home projects would need to expand this set pretty quickly
Price
The price is about right maybe a little less then purchasing all the tools individually
Shipping
The cost of shipping is about the cost of a new wrench
Some of the bits had come loose during shipping so be careful when opening the case for the first time
Competitiveness
But better than what youd expect at this price
Cheaper the harbor freights offbrand but much nicer
Its very good for apartment dwellers or to gift to firsttime tool owners

More than once i wouldve been unable to complete my chore if i didnt have this set waiting in the wings

They only will fall out if you are a dummy and open it upside down

However my husband the tool expertmechanic says this is very basic and he wouldnt recommend it for anything beyond a starter kit

This wouldnt be a toolset for a professional but for a homeowner it has just about all youd need to fix repair or put together something
