Pros & Cons
Pros
This crescent wrench 'feels' solid. Very sturdy. Smooth adjustment thumb roller. This is a good wrench, because it is adjustable.
Cresent is a good tool. An adjustable wrench is a must in any tool box. I only wish the gear was finer tooth. The size reference for both metric and sae is a nice feature.
Cons
Wow what a piece of junk. Poor craftsmanship. Two bad wrenches in a row is a sign that quality control maybe lax.
The spiral is very loose, and the jaws flop quite obnoxiously. The jaw is loose and jangles.
Still turns nuts, but no where near as nice as the tool was when it was made in usa. The roller adjuster is less to be desired. Wont even open up or close up without a lot of work.
Highlights
Quality
Such high quality works perfectly and doesnt stick or get loose like other lesser ones
I received an authentic good quality crescent wrench
I believe the tool is made to similar quality as the us version but i do not like the fact that these come from china
Solid seems to be odd top quality
Competitiveness
However i was expecting this to be made in the usa
