Pros & Cons

Pros

This tool is very strong and robust. The only con is the nail or object needs to be out about 1/8 of an inch for the pliers to grab it. This is a real durable tool made by a great company.

This works so much better than a claw and hammer as there is much less damage to the wood you are pulling nails from. The extendable handle creates considerably more leverage than you'll ever get from a cat's paw.

This nail puller is a beast. That kind of attention to detail makes me respect chanellock for their fantastic design here! This is the 3rd pair that i have bought because after folks see how useful they are, they somehow fenagle mine!

Pulling nails, staples, or anything protruding from a surface is a breeze. Hardwood grabs the sides of the spiral nails quite well. It even pulls out drywall screws with ease. Lean into it to pull the nail almost effortlessly.

When it recently went missing i tried to get another one but it apparently has been discontinued

It did the job but in the dim light i would occasionally miss getting a grip on the nail because sometimes i stuck the nail through the slot in the middle instead of into the pliers grip

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

My original tool was easier to useespecially in dim light because it had only one slot
