I have proof of this as once i replaced the lights with led bulbs and click the remote in the car to open the door then try to click again to stop it before it opens all the way the remote will not connect to the door receiver

Same when closing the door while in motion to close clicking the remote does nothing

I found a list of led bulbs that will work from a garage door opener maker and this model cree is on the list
