With jars you can put a lot more paint in them only thing i noticed over time is that if i leave oil paint in glass jars for longer periods of time if there is airspace in the jar there is some drying that will happen on top of the paint or in other words a skin develops on top of paint

I think that if they were a smaller size the whole process would have been difficult

They are great for saving paint from larger tubes especially if that tube has broken open and the paint starting to dry out

They are quite flimsy and several of them have broken others sit on the the tubes at an angle they come that way
