Pros
Sturdy, solid wood, good craftsmanship. Well packaged (2 crates, both heavy but lift-able by 2 average folks in their 60's) seems very sturdy. It matches my cabinets and countertops.
The casters are just ok and do the job. The heights of shelves are completely adjustable with pegs inserted into the sides of the cabinets. I prefer the casters since this makes it easy to move to wash and vacuum the kitchen floor.
It fits well in my newly remodeled kitchen. Far, far beyond my expectations. Love, love, love it!
This island is super high quality and we love the butcher block top! Had a great bonding experience doing this island together. On one side of the island is a paper towel holder and a spice holder.
Cons

Seriously disappointed. Too heavy and difficult to return. Now i have to paint it white because next to my white cabinets it really looks off colored. Very serious design flaw.

There is nothing cheap about this cart it is well worth the price
Packaging/appearance
The packaging was impressive and very secure
Packaging was exceptional granite was wrapped very well
It has heavy duty wheels so i can move it where i need it as an island or push it out of the way
Competitiveness
Allinall this is a very well constructed island that is comparable to much more expensive models
The drawers glide easily and are comparable to the expensive cabinetry
It is a definite bargain compared to regular furniture prices

I like the island however after my husband assembled it there was a ding in one of the doors the pull drawer didnt line up so he had to drill a different hole luckily you cant see this and the granite top has some flaws

We didnt assemble the wheels or side pieces because our kitchen is too small and we didnt want it to be too high

I almost jumped to that conclusion but found them and the screws in the box for the top not in the main box

You will build the entire unit literally nothing is assembled including the drawers
