Pros
Bought a pair of those for my 17-year old dustbuster. I am gladly surprised they are working great! I still need to figure out a better fix but other than this issue, the batteries seem good.

It turns out that the recessed contact inside the battery is about 1mm deeper than in the old batts so the contact finger of the charger couldnt connect

If the leads touch and short out they will get very hot
