As i have only been using it for a week i cant comment on the longevity but the quality of the case indicates that it is well made

Planning to buy at least 1 more possibly 2good to have my old makita back up and running dating back to the late 90snothing wrong with it the oem batteries were undoubtedly good qualitybut eventually refused to take a charge
