Pros & Cons
Pros
Good price and shipped quickly. Works ok, be sure to continue shaking the can. I'm very pleased to find on internet 'cause it is very difficult to find locally.
Cons
This brand has terrible adhesion. Chalk like powder remains that comes off on hands. Does not bond well.
Highlights
Quality
Crc sticks very well and even does well over rust
Excellent to repair galvanized gates or any sawed ends of galvanized metal
Zinc is sacrificial oxidizing first before steel so it doesnt last forever
It dries as a light gray color but after the laser hits it it melts and fuses to the tile surface as a black color
Price
This stuff is the real deal for long lasting rust protection
I used to buy this product in cases of 1224 cans cost about 4
Rustoleum is half the price and about 25 as good because it just flakes off
Competitiveness
We will see how this new formula compares to the original which the go to for decades
Ive tried several brands of zinc spray
The only other brand that might hold a candle to crc is lps of which i have not tried their cold gal yet
