The product smells like plastic when i opened it but if you air it out for a couple of days the smell will be gone

The only down side that i see to them is the cover doesnt let you get a full screen

You have to hold the cover back a bit when you are trying to hit the home button or the bottom or top of the kindle screens to access the main buttons
