This toy has some parts that are not extremely robust and would likely get broken in the hands of kids under 5 years old

It is easy to take the numberletter setup instructions out of context here and ridicule them as confusing but when you actually have in hand the instruction sheet with the sample pattern illustration plus the machine itself with its logical number and letter markings it is not at all confusing for an adult
