The back drops are a little thinner like if the light was coming from behind them then maybe it would be slightly sheer but against a wall or just front lighting it shouldnt be an issue

I would recommend getting a filllight for any serious photography unless you want the crappy bright beyond bright photos almost all run of the mill photographers do these days think your local mall because these bad boys are packing a lot of white light

It comes with 3 backdrops which as one reviewer pointed out does not require clips that distort the way the fabric hangs

I gave this a 4 star for two reasons1 although it is packed for travel the carrying case is very lightweight and cheap material and zipper
