I have asthma and live where winters are very cold and dry and with the pandemic i consider having a humidifier a necessity.
Bought this for my apartment to reduce static electricity and improve breathing quality of air in winter.

I used to use the ultra-sonic ones but the water would tend to get musty but with the heating element of this unit that's not an issue.

Turns off when out of water so if you only need a little moisture, only fill it up part way.

This one is very quiet just a bubbling sound on the highest setting and almost no sound on the lowest setting.

Use both hands on the sides not on the top handle because it gets awkward filled with water and turning it upside down.

The only flaw that i've found is that if you set the water tank down upside down when it's full it can cause a hairline fracture in the plastic which will cause the tank to lose suction.

When the tank loses any type of suction the water will begin to flow out of the bottom and out of the unit.
