Pros
It does a great job of collecting dust and metal chips from my miter saw. It cleans everything with aplomb! The inside bag is clumsy, but effective, once you get it on.
The exhaust port is surprisingly powerful and suction is just as good. The exhaust damper allows me to use this without ear protection for short jobs and doesn't seem to affect suction. Easy assembly powerful suction strong attachments.
This shop-vac is incredible for the money. This is a really nice and durable shop vac. We have 3 large parrots and the floors in our home can get a bit crunchy with bird feed.
Large size and does well rolling over cords. Easy roll and easy empty spout. It glides nicely.
Cons
The 2- point mechanism for locking the power head to the debris canister does not seal the head tightly to the canister. Same results. The nozzles stick to everything unless you use the nozzle on an angle.
I am unimpressed with the product or “customer service’ or lack thereof. The emerson warranty phone and web sites are a miserable joke.

Ive had smaller shop vacuums over the years and often wondered what might be impeding the suction and had to empty them ever few days

Long story short they were going to give me a 17 discount for no screws but i felt this was a screwy offer yes pun intended
I didnt want a discount i wanted the screws to attach the hose holders and handle

This was a black friday special package that included an extra filter and a 20 foot hose
The machine was just thrown in the box with the plastic bag barely covering

Top of the line for the comparable market
I wish they would sell the 12 gallon with the same suction power
I purchased this unit to replace a shop vacuum i purchased at sears in 1996
