I still wrestle with the finnicky light but i use these only occasionally so it wasnt a a deal breaker for me
2 very good quality diffusing umbrellas
Anybody who saw the video with the screen would instantly believe it was shot by a seasoned pro
Also in my opinion the construction quality is top notch
Price
If you are just starting out and are looking to experiment then the price is right and it really is a pretty good light kit
Metal is hollow but i dont consider that a problem especially for this awesome price

Firstly i would like to say that shipping was phenomenal
Packaging/appearance
The packaging was nice and protective and i like the carrying case it came with a lot
I also kept all packaging for the bulbs too
Setup of the pieces is easy to the point that you probably can skip visiting their website as directed in the packaging
Competitiveness
The stands are sturdy even with 85w bulbs and assemble quickly
For the umbrella lights would recommend purchasing at least 85w daylight bulbs and stronger if you can find or afford them
I actually bought two of these kits and four 85w bulbs for the project

In order to notice any sort of effect of the lights i had to place them almost directly on the subject that i was shooting

While there may be applications for using light in that manner that shouldnt be the only way to use them

Maybe theyre retarded because it would take like 50 lbs of force into the tightening screw to break them

I have been using these for about a year now literally 3 or 4 times a week for multiple hours per day and in that time only one of the light bulbs has burnt out

My only complaint was it took the distributer about 5 days to a week to package and ship the product but after it was shipped it came in a matter of a few days
