No buildup. Love cowboy magic products. Use them all.
A great way to freshen up your pooch between bath events. I fine it dries his hair some.
Cowboy magic keeps hair from ratting, matting, tangling. My hair is always knotty after i wash it mainly bc of the curls.
Cons
Golden doodle looks frizzy. May be good for horses but not good for *.

The other product is more like a serum and i use it to detangle my poodles when they are brushed out
