It is the only canister i actually recommend, though some others are perhaps equally capable. The reflective stripe pops into view when a headlamp's beam finds it. My only ding is that rain will seep in.
Just about perfect for a four-day duo trip. Used this for a 5 day motorcycle camping trip in the mountains of georgia.
Yes, it's a bit heavy and truly bulky. It's very durable and easy to open with a coin or pocket knife. A quarter works great or a regular flat head screwdriver.

Do not attempt to attach a rope or chain to any bear cannister it will only help the bear take it to a place far away
