Pros
Cotton means no petrochemicals and no allergies. For me, i'm just thankful it's all cotton, no synthetics to be breathing in all night.

Works great for slightly cooler nights in a moderate climate. Your mileage may vary in climates that are much colder.
It really only is noticeably big on the corners. The outer shell is pretty noisy, but that isn't an issue for us. I also like the slight rustling sound it makes when moved.
Cons
It's incredibly noisy and makes the com forter have this oddly stiff feeling to it.

Even though the tag says it can be machine washed and dried it does state that it is better to dry clean
