Pros
It has two main compartments that run the length of the pack, plus a laptop-ish sleeve thing inside the rear one. The top main pocket isn't a zip, it's a drawstring that you can often leave open for super easy access.
Cons
Side pockets are not tall enough to securely hold a metal water bottle. Is this a design flaw? Might work as a gym bag but not ideal for outdoor recreation.

It was safe for gear and looked nice but its rigid and heavy and bulky

But its so light and flexible it naturally crumples and falls down to a light and tiny pack when you have little in it

The first tradeoff is simply that the walls are super thin thus there is no protection for anything you put in here

If you put a camera and i have put a large heavy camera in this bag in then you need something else to protect it or you simply need to be paranoid about not dropping or banging it

The second tradeoff is the small pockets one facing the upper outside and the other a mesh pocket inside the main compartment will flop the bag down if they are filled with heavy stuff and the rear compartment zip is undone

If i just want to stick my phone and a sweater in the luzon it works its not overkill because the bag is so light itself
