Pros & Cons

Pros

Overall the corsair k30 is a good product and i've really enjoyed how its simplified my gaming experience! I am so impressed by the fact that my neglect hasn't completely * this thing up.

The corsair k30 gaming keyboard is a great value package that is competing in an interesting price niche. While not n-key roll-over of nicer keyboards, it is likely enough for most users.

The raised keys make cleaning the keyboard with canned air a snap. I miss the surety of the mechanical keys and the corsair is huge by comparison. The only thing i hate is the g1-g6 keys!

The keyboard feels really nice and durable. Better feeling than a normal keyboard, but not as sturdy as a mechanical one.

Cons

Hold down shift key, sometimes, for half a second before it registers. This keyboard is not recognizable until windows starts loading. Had to buy and return it in the end going for a logitech board instead.

Rgb lighting will fade over time, getting dimmer and dimmer. You're better off getting a dell keyboard used at goodwill. The k70 is much better if you are looking for a more reliable alternative that doesn't have the macro keys.

It's like corsair was trying to emulate a cherry mx red with rubber domes and failing miserably. I am actually happy that i had a problem with the back-light right out of the box because it lead to me returning a product that i prolly wouldn't have be...  Read More

For the price this is okay just be aware if youre in a setup where your keyboard is relatively flaton to your face the lights will look very cheap
