The robot picks up all the dog hair and even wood shards and small rocks with ease. My daughter and i both have long hair that would become wrapped around spinning parts of the vacuum.

Overall the r400 seems like a serviceable robot vacuum for the price. We have an older r500 and this seems to operate a bit more smoothly. You can schedule this one with the app.
Cons
The moving parts became entangled in pet hair. It takes 5-6 tries for the vacuum to get onto the rug, then once on it, it errors out, and gets stuck or it gets frustrated and returns to the docking station. Poor suction power.

For the money this is an awesome little vacuum
The price is a steal considering how great this product is
It has wifi at this price point
But does a great job for the money

It arrived in a few days and has been running great
He was very fast and knowledgeable and got my problem fixed within minutes
Packaging/appearance
There was no padding in the oversized box it came packed in
I finally unpacked the device read the vague instructions and figured out the operational issues on my own which was not user friendly
Competitiveness
So far it is able to go from rugtilewood fairly well better then my “r” brand ones
It’s far better than a comparable vacuum bought about two years ago
I tried other brands and didn’t like how it hit and missed spots
