They dont come with any instructions on the box but all you need to do is push the button underneath the light to activate it and place the globe in sunlight

Our pond is in a shaded part of the garden so doesnt get a ton of sun but this doesnt seem to be am issue for this light

It took me a while to figure out why it only work upside down when i first got it out of the box

This unit looks to be very well made and works perfectly sitting on top of the water giving off a range of colours from duskit has hook holes on both the top and bottom so it can also be hung from above or used to hold weights to keep it positioned in the waternote that as it is effectively a sealed unit due to its need to be protected from water there appears to be no facility to change the battery when it finally does stop charging
