Pros & Cons
Pros
The book is written in neat sections and has a part for mum, baby, toddler and child. The author seems very down to earth and some of the advice given on cutting corners during the early stages came as a great relief.
A classic. It devotes a whole chapter to that dreaded 'first day on your own', which was a lifesaver to me. I'm only in the beginning of my second pregnancy and just started reading this book but i reckon things will be different this time around.
It is well structured. It is funny (but in a deadpan way) it is detailedit is relevant. I think it's a really useful and informative book.
Cons
They’re only young once don’t be in a hurry. Don't provide a huge amount of practical advice about introducing a sibling to your toddler. Authors assume that your life is exactly like theirs.
