You may press the right side button at any point to choose the chosen colour as it goes through the cycle

Another way is turn the lights on and then click the button till you get a solid darker colour of your choice from the ones given

I also like the fact that the stream come out of the top unlike other diffusers i have had which have their stream coming out at an angle downwards from the side which is pointless as its not going into the air and ends up as a puddle wherever you have placed it

The decorative top just slides on top no turning to secure it

The only reason i have not given it a 5 is because it doesnt have an intermittant mode which is on for 30 seconds and then off for 30 seconds
