The one from michaels also was a plug in and wouldnt work as it is hanging above our kitchen sink

The length of the cord can be adjusted as you can see in my picture its all the way retracted

The fit and finish of this pendant is not perfect but definitely passable

The bulb base is somewhat misaligned on both units i bought and welding in some parts of the metal are a bit off
