When you lay it flat on the camera side the wallet fold out stops the phone balancing on the camera as the camera protrudes from the phone so will protect it

Getting it off is quite difficult if you need to but that should not be something you do normally

The cards are held in proper wallet style slots so there is no chance of them falling out

If you wanted to use the case as a stand for your phone you would have to open the card flap and stand your phone vertical portrait

The phone is very upright like this and not an ideal angle for viewing normally
