The maxmiles rack bag is semi-rigid, which is great! I have no idea if the bag is waterproof (probably not totally) but who cares? They give you a blazingly bright yellow rain cover! Which is waterproof! Good reflective stripe helps with visibility.

This bag is awesome! This bag really works well. It's an incredible bag.

Except for defects from the factory (which seem few), everyone beams about the bags. Exceptionally well designed. Construction is nice and everything works as advertised.

The bag transforms from a small commuter to drop down panniers. Perfect for commuting, also to carry my 14 laptop easily on the side pockets. Easy on easy off but secure while riding.
