Also it works fine with carrotsparsnips cut them into 2 inch chunks the only gripe i have is the body of the machine is hard to clip in right it takes a lot of fiddling to align it with the hole its why i only gave it 4 stars apart from that i would have to buy another if this one broke

The only thing you need to make sure of is that the bowl is on correct as if not it wont operate

The only thing is you have to ensure the base and bowl have clicked firmly in place as the machine will not work otherwise
