The battery pocket is so much nicer! They make the controller feel strong and solid in your hand. The strap keeps them on your hand so you can relax your grip. This makes it easy to take the battery out when needing to change.

They are hard and slippery especially after you start sweating after a few minutes of aggressive playing and the flimsy wristband that comes with them doesnt do anything to keep the controller in your hand if you loosen your grip even the slightest
