It has been two years and still not a single squeal

Great value and it was a perfect fit
Got a good price on a belt made by a reliable manufacturer
Wasnt easy to find in stores had to order for twice as much if i went with chevy the dealer

The dealer replaced the belt three times with oem and i replaced it once with the bando but it never worked
This noise is very common with toyota vehicles
The second corolla did not have any additional noise other than that from the toyota branded belt

At first i thought i had to replace auto tensioner on m 2006 toyota corolla but first tried this belt and the squeaking noise went away

The original belt that came out was still in good shape with no cracking but oddly enough was making a terrible squeaking noise

I didnt realize i had two separate squealschirping sounds and now that i confirmed the second squealchirping was not the continental belt but the spring connection between my manifold and exhaust pipe it is all quiet for the first time in about 11 years

So now i bought another continental elite poly vbelt for my second 2005 corolla which has also had the same issue for the past 11 years even though ive changed the toyota branded belt and other related parts

Previous review below is no longer accurate but remains in case the symptoms assist others to look at their exhaust pipemanifold connection

I changed the bolts spring and gasket at this connection and now all is quieti have two 2005 toyota corollas and since about 2007 the belt squeals while stopped and worse under load such as with brake on at red lights
