It is the only book ive ever had to use that does this and its incredibly irritating

The author says he felt that including an acknowledgement of what he had cut didnt provide substantive information so it didnt matter

However it leaves the reader with a false impression of how the case was decided

It is especially frustrating in the cases where he only lists the author of the opinion so it appears that everyone signed onto it when in reality there were three concurrences

It gives you an incomplete knowledge of what actually went on in the case

After a few days of use the cover has begun to tear
