I suppose i could pay a custom maker a lot of money for something that might or might not be marginally better though i fear the advantages would mostly be in the purchasers head

Initial inspection was good however when i sighted down the spine there was a distinctive bend in the blade that could be seen from the bottom and the top

It felt like it would be a good skinnerslicer had i sharpened it and tried it out

The blade edge felt like it had been inconsistently sharpened part sharp part dull

Comparing the two sheaths showed different logos stamped into the leather

The hivernant must be an older knife due to the older logo gleaned from youtube comments about the logo change
