Pros
This hd kukri knife is no joke. It's a heavier blade which makes it a perfect chopper. Condor's roots go all the way back to something like 1787 in solingen, germany.
Leather sheath has two snaps and the blade fits in snug like a glove. The sheath is sturdy, the retention snaps are more than substantial.
Spine throws sparks well off of a ferro rod. Good steel, great construction, convex edge is strong.
For those of us who still want a razor sharp blade, a few minutes of sharpening is all it will take to get it there. New version has micarta scales & a steel * cap which will i assume enhance durability. The finish on the blade grind is a bit roug... Read More
Will customize handle for comfort. Appears to have brass cutlers compression rivets so you may have to drill them out and replace them if you grind the heads off.
Cons
After using my kukri for about an hour of hatchet work processing down some firewood, the handle cracks and falls off the rivets into my hands. I know condor is highly respected but this was a dud.

It was sharp enough to shave hair out of the box
The only reason for the four stars is for how dull the blade was out of the box

Only thing left to do is add a paracord lanyard
They keep putting out blades this great at these prices and theyre gonna take over the market
You aint in business that long making subpar products

This model sports an impressive heavy 1075 steel alloy tang though the grind looks somewhat rough unfinished the edge seems almost dull though i bought a used one

The sheath is not too bad although for me it does not support left hand carry so i will make a new leather or kydex one

Its the tiniest imperfection and the only one i can find on the knife as a whole

It is not a stainless so care will need to be taken to limit corrosion
