The burner is fully adjustable between a carbonizing to a highly oxygenated flame when using propane. The control knob is on the hose instead of mounted so there is no issue with any fire melting the control units.

The banjo jr gas burner is a perfect lp burner to convert my oklahoma joe. Decided to try this to replace the rusted out burner in my smokey mountain *. Created a fish fryer from scratch. Wanted to use this as a head source for a char-griller 5050.

Cons

I have a hunch there is some useless safety valve inside the regulator. I am * lucky that i was standing close by because if it had continued to burn the hose would have melted and i would have full on flamethrower and probably burned my house down.
