Pros

This canning insert replaces an old rusty one. It spaces jars and makes lifting them out of the hot water easier and safer. The flat surface accepts all our alternate jar sizes.

These are much sturdier, heavier gage metal than the original rack. They are sturdy and rust-free.

Cons

It has no dividers to keep jars in place and keep them from * against each other once water is at a hard boil. Diameter is less than 12” so too small.
