Pros
Tastes just as good as t'ere plucked from the tree. The flavor the freshness the size is the best by far. They are fresh and tasty although certainly pricey.
Cons
This purchase of chestnuts was very disappointing due to the lack of flavor of the chestnuts themselves. God only knows how long it was on their shelf before shipping.

This was awesome open the jar taste the quality find them yummy chop them up everyone enjoys the delicious stuffing
Good quality chestnuts often eat them as a snack
So just to make things easy i bought these again the next year and the quality was just not therethey were not at all fresh
As other reviewers have mentioned it is hard to find decent quality chestnuts and it is a lot of work to roast and peel them
Shipping
Standard shipping was supposed to take 57 days and i got them in 3 days as they arrived priority
Packaging/appearance
The packaging alone was supurb i was totally blown away by the method and care
Competitiveness
They are fresh and tasty although certainly pricey compared to the usual local cost

I fooled my picky mother who would not have touched it if she knew the chestnuts were out of a jar rather than out of the shell and skin

Then i have to buy 23 pkgs because generally 13 of the chestnuts get tossed by time they are cooked peeled
