With the auto on function it only records when there is movement across its field of vision

It does record in darkness but i’ve found that it does need ambient light otherwise the footage is grainy and not clear it will record a distance of 3 5 meters and this goes up to 8 meters in daylight

In normal light it’s very clear and you’re able to see the video clearly

There is a label on the inside to let you know which way to put the book updown which is ver helpful because without that it would be hard to know
