The basic functions are pretty typical of all dash cams loop recording with crash detection and the option to manually save a segment but where this device really excels is in low light

When the light gets too low for colour recording you can actually hear a filter i presume its infrared moving inside the camera and the picture changes to a black and white ir picture much like youll have seen on tv in films or police reality shows
