It adjusts to the voltage automatically when you plug it in so no voltage converter is needed
No plug adapters come with the curling iron but they will be needed for any country that does not have 120 voltage
Then on the trip i plugged it in with the appropriate plug adapter in santiago chile and it adapted to the chile voltage automatically and worked just as great as it did in the us
I am saving this dual voltage curling iron for future trips out of the us and for a backup spare if i need it at home
