use the box it came in to protect the good side of the top dont pay any attention to predrilled pilot holes on underside of top theyre not correct better off measuring from sides and calculating manually with a tape measure i bought two of these tables the first one i used the pilot holes it was a mistake on my part ended up having to dismantle and start again as they were in the wrong place and skewed the construction right from the beginning
