Pros
Overall, it meets our needs. It looks nice and none of my guests have given it a second glance. It arrived days before originally projected.
It comes with a thin deodorizing insert for the lid. The lid fits tightly so no odor.
Compost bin is not very wide so it sits nicely on our kitchen counter. Comes with its own rubber pad to sit which is nice protection for your counter top. I like the rubber pad it came with so there isn't a risk of a rusty spot on the counter.
If you compost, this is the indoor canister to use! Needed something to hold daily used coffee grounds and banana peels.
Cons
Is this from a scratch and dent sale? It has a small scratch on it and a big dent. The outer lip on the inner bucket has cracked off.
The lid fits extremely loosely - it only rests on the canister, despite the listing claiming it fits snuggly. The space where the filter goes is 3 times bigger than the filter, meaning it moves all around and is useless.

We’ve had it about 4mo now and no mold nasty smells or mildew at all
A nonslip round mat comes with the bucket in addition to the plastic insert and filtered lid

Like many who reviewed this compost bucket i was surprised at its small size when i opened the box but the size is just perfect
The container itself is metal and the white is perfect with farmhouse decor
Competitiveness
A bit pricey for what is essentially a metal bucket and a plastic bucket but better than buying a series of low quality products
At least thats a lot better than our previous compost bin

I like the size for just 2 people the extra filters they sent werent the right size they were to big
