The barrier keeps earwax out of the actual earbuds without affecting the sound quality. If you live with other people, it makes it slightly easier to talk to without having to remove your earphone or ask them to repeat themself.
Soo much more comfortable. Surprisingly, they mold much easier. Only problem is that for me these dont last too long.

When you order these tips you get 3 pairs and those 3 pairs seems to last me about 2 months
