The only drawback is that they are slightly costly over the long term, but they are worth it. Mine seem to last roughly 150-200 hours of use before needing replacing. They also do a good job on aircraft, although its not total isolation there.
It's just me and the music (sorry for the cliche, but it's true) they are also making the rha's sound so much better. Perfectly noise isolating, better bass, and a much more immersive experience over all.

This happens too easy, and that's too bad. That is completely not acceptable. More time wasted on a produce i should’ve never bought.

I admit the new texture does grip the inner ear better but at the cost of longevity

I use them for maybe 20 hours a week and a pair can last between 20 hours and maybe 80 hours before they deteriorate around the opening
