Rain drips right off there’s a foldable hood that pulls out from the collar

Overall it’s functional and if you’re looking for a simple travel size rain jacket instead of a poncho this would be the way to go

The water beaded up on the jacket as my washing machine was filling with water so it does appear to be waterproof

I would not put much in the pockets as they cannot be closed and are quite large
