Pros

The plot isn’t particularly gripping but the action does surprise the reader periodically. Maggie and her spirit make this such a good read. I hope barbara decides to add to this series.

Cons

In two instances she writes of an election being a shoe-in when the correct term is shoo-in. Very disappointed for being mislead. It’s flat and one-dimensional.

Having her call herself maggie in professional situations is improbable and condescending. The ending is simply awful. I appreciate a tidy ending as much as the next person, but the entire story was tidy.

An interesting premise but not well executed. Purchased the book based on a promotion placed on facebook. Two pages in i was offended by the bad language and deleted the book from my kindle.
