Shoes will blend in more. I always size up my shoes, especially the covered shoes since they tend to hurt and blister my ankles. Have a pair of relatively expensive boat shoes to wear without socks in arizona.

The heel pad is not strong enough to slip in and slip off after a few steps! Not a good dip.
