Pros

Craftsmanship, customer service, and warranty are absolutely phenomenal! No issues with installation or start up.

My house is a rancher of approximately 2400 sq feet (with the finished basement) and the stove inserted in a masonry fireplace on the upper level. With the hvac on intermittent circulate, it keeps the lower level/walkout basement around 60/62.

    I didnt buy this stove on amazon but called and ordered it directly from glen at comfortbilt

    Also put the heat setting up to 3 for a bit before filling because with the hopper door open the feeder wont run and the flame will go out

    I did the install myself and a few things should be addressed by the manufacturer 1 – the manual does not address the very simple fact that as a fireplace insert the exhaust vent needs to be a flexible line as the unit will have to slide into the cavity

    Extending the exhaust vent port to accommodate a hose clamp would be extremely helpful
